Terms of Service

1. Who we are

EveryPetHaven ("EveryPetHaven", "we", "us") operates the website and marketplace at everypethaven.com. These Terms govern your use of the site and all related services. By creating an account, buying, selling, booking, or posting, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the policies linked from our Legal hub.

2. We are a platform, not a party to your transactions

EveryPetHaven is an intermediary that connects pet parents with independent sellers, groomers, veterinarians, trainers, sitters and course creators ("Providers"). Except for products we expressly sell and fulfil ourselves, we are not the seller, service provider, employer, or agent of any Provider, and we are not a party to the contract formed between you and a Provider.

Providers are solely responsible for their goods, services, advice, licensing, insurance, conduct, and compliance with law. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of anything offered by a Provider. Verification (see Verification & Trust) is a screening step, not an endorsement or warranty.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to transact, sell, or provide services, and at least 13 to hold an account. You are responsible for your login, for activity under your account, and for keeping your details accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create risk to the community.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform — no unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive activity; no circumventing fees; no scraping or interfering with the service. Community content is governed by our Community Guidelines.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. Prices, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. Seller commissions and platform booking fees are described in the Seller & Provider Agreement.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Content and courses are general information, not professional, veterinary, or legal advice (see Health Disclaimer).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EveryPetHaven is not liable for the acts, omissions, goods, services, or advice of any Provider or member, for pet illness, injury or loss arising from a Provider's services, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify EveryPetHaven against claims arising from your use of the platform, your content, or (if you are a Provider) your goods, services, or advice.

8. Disputes & complaints

Disputes about a purchase or booking are between you and the Provider. We offer a good-faith complaint process to help, but we are not an arbiter of legal claims. Governing law and venue will be those stated in our final published terms; nothing here waives rights you cannot waive by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means acceptance.
